He was getting ready to head to the bar for some drinks with friends. What happened next takes him by surprise. First beer, first cigarette of the night. You see some familiar faces. Some not so much. All equally entertaining to watch and observe. Next thing you know, his neighbor is there stealing your face with a single lonely hit of LSD. Historically his tolerance was high. It usually took well over one dose to get his head in the proper space. So he had his doubts to say the least. But still, what a pleasant surprise. It is always said that if you seek to find Lucy she will forever elude you. Because you don't find Lucy, she finds you. And find him she did. the first 20 minutes nothing. Ten minutes later you begin to feel as if you are floating 6 inches off the ground. Give it another half hour and a hand waved in front of ones face would seem to leave colorful tracers for miles. Faces became strange. Colors become vibrant. This is when you feel it. That intense distinct feeling that all consistently get under such an influence. Energy. Connection. Wonder and amazement. The whole place became a wonderful and strange circus. A seemingly inbred woman with too much energy and alcohol tries to make eye contact in such a manner that made him begin to wonder if he should laugh or run away for fear of being attacked. After explaining to his good friend that he no longer required much more alcohol, he makes his way outside to have a little quiet as he watched the patterns in the gravel shift and swirl about and glimmer in the street light. By this point he is all quiet giggles and inexplicable grins. After so much of watching these strange things he suddenly felt it necessary to make his way home to enjoy the rest of his journey alone with some nice music to contemplate life and the universe.
