Do you date? If so, do you use a dating app or what other means do you use?

Not anymore now that my previous "dating" resulted in an ostensible marriage ....only social security law prevents us from filing a joint return....I suppose people date for temporary fun or a series of limited companionship activities....and young single people date evaluating one another for future marriage

I'd like to!

I am currently on Pet People Meet. It's a pay site but, pretty inexpensive. No luck so far. The pool in my area is pretty limited. I've even cast my net to a 200 mile radius. LOL. I keep saying I'm going to give up on the dating sites. I've been on them all. I just can't seem to form a connection with anyone through the internet. It's just not natural for me. It would be nice to just be able to meet someone in person and have everything fall into place. Going on 50 this weekend and have never been married or any serious relationship. Part of it is me because I'm very introverted and not very needy when it comes to relationships so, I like to spend time alone and don't usually want to be with someone 24/7. The other reason is that every relationship that looked like it may be going somewhere, they end up lying or cheating and I don't play those games. I guess I'm going to end up alone and most of the time I'm fine with that.

I’ve given up in dating App’s that charge - not enough of a population base in my area to make it worthwhile:/

I have used a few in the past, as well as fb. I was hoping to use this as a dating app, and I have to a degree.

Im considering going back to match.com, where I had some success before deleting it.

Fitness Singles website.

OkCupid changed their website. You have to pay to message people.

Fitness singles requires you to pay to send or receive messages.

Meet Mindful is another one you might find to be of interest- I’m not sure what kind of fees are charged there

@Haemish1

I know that Fitness Singles requires that you pay.

I was on Bumble, OkCupid, and POF. I started seeing someone and disabled my accounts. We only saw each other for a few weeks but it was SO refreshing for me to not be obsessing over dating apps. Which is what I was doing.

I'm planning on moving as soon as I can find a job in the city I want to live in. I have several friends there and am hoping to meet people to date through them. I may give it 6 months or a year and if I haven't found anyone to date I'll consider activating Bumble.

Yes - when the opportunity arises ... however that may occur.

Begging and pleading is my normal approach. I wouldn't recommend it though. Apparently women like men who have self esteem. Who knew?

I wish.

Any means at my disposal, dating apps , friends of friends, random hellos when out and about.
