Some municipalities are already complaining that this will restrict their budget as a part of their budget comes from cops steeling assets from people they feel are guilty if only by being in possession of large sums of money (valuable stuff).

The caveat is in the most current ruling the 8th amendment pertains to the forfeiture unconstitutional as an excessive fine so therefore a crime has to have been committed. But hey, it is a step in the right direction

Need to end the police state municipalities forever.
