Karen Carpenter. I remember just being old enough to comprehend that Anorexia, was essentially mental suicide. I was so angry at her. Her voice was so unique.

And Kurt Cobain and Sid Viscous (I was only 12). There was also a local weather reporter who died early this year. She was my age and always seemed full of life. That hit home.
