Atheist Always vs Recovering Believer - Do you have a preference as a partner and if so why?

In another fo a friend of mine posted how she preferred the idea of partnering with a recovering believer as opposed to an atheist who's never been a believer. To be honest I had never considered it before. She is a recovering believer and she felt they would have more empathy toward each others experience which would make her more comfortable.

After consideration, I don't think it would make any difference to me at all. Since I have never thought about this before I was wondering if this is something others had ever considered.
