For 27 years plus I've been taking art seriously. I've lately got a bit bored with drawing and haven't touched pencil too paper in over a year which is the longest I haven't drawn for since 1992. I started drawing on paper because I wanted to be a tattooist and thought I should get it on paper before I get it on skin. I did some tattoos and fairly good ones as I was self taught. anyway I gave up the tattoos as the drawing took over. I thought that I had totally lost interest but after much thinking I realised I was limited by the size of my drawing board. I looked up the price of a bigger one and its approx. $1500 - $1800 which is expensive at the moment. after much thought I decided too build my own bigger one. it cost me more like $300 and is the size I want. I have a spare bedroom so I am going too make it into a studio. I've kind of got too as the board is so big I had too put it together in the bedroom lol. its not perfect but I'm pleased with it.
