When I was a Teen I wrote a short little poem that I think is pretty good and I would like to share it here.
When all is lost and gone astray
Just close your eyes and dream away
Your days will be bright
the grass will be green
and the stars will shine like a diamonds gleam
Told you it was short at one point I started working on another verse but never really finished it as my creative juices ran out. I am a bit lonely at the moment so I am remembering things past

It is tough I Just split from my other half I am in a foriegn country I want to return home but can't until after my sons birthday. I have No family here except my kids( Mother dominates their time) No friends to speak of Just my work mates. Oh well not trying to sound depressing Just a bit lonely tonight. Thank you

Thank you I was pretty creative back in the day
I used to visit this workplace where the guy had a sign on the wall that sort of permanently ruined me for poetry like this because it's the first thing I think of:
When you feel like crying
And want to quit
Don't run to me ...
I don't give a shit!
At least he was up front!
However, I do like your poem. You are correct, "this, too, shall pass" is a good mantra to learn.
