To get off the 'Trump topic' for a nanosecond!

I guess some people will soon be ready to celebrate Naomh Padraig Day- with green foam hats, made in China- and get drunk- 'like all Irishmen do'.

Hint: if anyone does that at our local Irish Club, they swiftly, and unceremoniously, boot them out the door- and 'invite' them not to return.

Excuse my weird sense of reality and humour.

It's as ironic as cinco de mayo.

Yes, But in the case of cinco de mayo its a matter of wanting to connect with their past. I understand that- and I agree with that.

The local Irish club is a familly club, with GAA games, music, set dancing---oh forgot, and 'fresh' Guinness! LOL

@Diogenes cinco de mayo is a drunk fest with a Mexican war as an excuse.

@Corvislover Okay. I did not know that. I do NOT like being in the company of falling-down drunks.
