Around 1980, when I was in the navy I worked as a cook on the USS John F Kennedy aircraft carrier. When we had free time, we would go ashore on a "liberty boat" used to transport the crew members, and return on it too.
. The bad part about the return was that if you returned late in the evening, it would have all of the drunken sailors, and the minute the boat hit a few waves, they would start puking.
. So one day, one of my friends is serving out some form of stew as a choice to the line of sailors coming through the mess hall, and one of them, when asked what he wants, asks, "What is that?", pointing to the stew. So my friend says,
.
"Oh, we squeegeed this off of the deck of the liberty boat last night!"
. So the sailor grimaces, and says "No thanks, I'll have some of that." pointing to something else.

reminds me of the old plastic puke joke. one morning i was awakened by shouting & the mess killick (leading seaman) was demanding to know what was on a table. my old buddy Mac got out of his bunk went over, stuck his tongue in the realistic looking plastic puke & said "tastes like puke to me" the killick started dry heaving as he turned green. we all laughed like hell.

Good one!
