Feel free to reply to any comment by clicking the "Reply" button.The vocalist is holding the mic too close to his mouth....distorts the sound and renders some of the vocals unintelligible. I know this was a hit for them, and that after Ian Curtis’ death they were successful as New Order.

This was just an observation....as a singer myself, I know the pitfalls of singing with a mic too close!
They have the Depeche mode sound.
