I want to pass along one of my favorite ironic jokes this morning as I awoke with it on my mind. As the true story goes, Paul Tillich, who once taught at Harvard Divinity School had a student stand up in class and ask him this question:
"It is well known that people who study a great deal of psychology do not do well in psychotherapy. Isn't god going to have the same problem with theologians? "

Here is a brief description of Paul Tillich, in case you are not familiar with his work: Paul Johannes Tillich (August 20, 1886 – October 22, 1965) was a German-American Christian existentialist philosopher and Lutheran Protestant theologian who is widely regarded as one of the most influential theologians of the twentieth century.

Hoist on his own petard, I would love to have heard his response.

It's a good question. What was Tillich's response?
