Not exactly true. I am a socialist in the bent of Norther European style (Denmark, Finland, etc.). However, I believe in the Right of the People to Keep and Bear Arms. I view the Republicans as the most serious threat to democracy and think it is folly to limit guns with the Right-Wing threat (or some other unanticipated threat), looming in the future. In short, the Right is more of a threat to my (and the working class), than is the Left...unless the Danes are somehow abused.

The NRA is not culpable or related to the New Zealand shooting.

If you had bothered to do the research, you would have found that New Zealand has a gun owner's organization also. "The National Shooters Association is a nationwide civilian gun owners association..." [en.wikipedia.org]

@dahermit thanks for the assumption that I was inferring that the NRA had relevance in NZ. It was stated that the outcry wasnt heard loudly because it happened on foreign soil. Moreover the government there is already taking action against this kind of gun ownership there unlike the USA where we are addicted to high powered killing machines.
FYI I happen to be a liberal gun owner.

We should all note that the shooter was inspired by Trump's stand on immigrants and nationalism and said Trump was doing the right thing. This tells me that the spineless shitwad is actually helping to promote such things. He should be removed immediately by any means possible.
