Such a great shame that the dead can not speak up, I'd wager that there'd be some truly horrible stories of wanton interference by priests there as well.

I think the sexual deviance of Catholic priests and nuns is due to Church's rule that these people cannot marry or have families. Forced celibacy is aberrant behavior, which is built into the Catholic system, it will not change unless their system changes.

It is true that most abusers are Catholic priests but look up "Black Collar Crime" and you will see clergy in all sects are guilty. It's mostly a power thing.
Celibacy in the Catholic Church is as big a MYTH as is the religion and the bible.
