Dropped my kid off at his 5th grade PUBLIC school today, and there were 2 ladies out front passing out bibles to students entering the building......Gotta love Texas!

We have Jehova's Witnesses here, who set up a table in front of the local public library every week. But they don't pester anyone; and they get few takers for the literature they pass out. It seems to be some sort of 'rite of passage' for them.

"What timing, thank you! We just ran out of toilet paper."

i wish i could say something like that, but our community is So small, i'd be labeled a pariah before i left the parking lot.....Im trying to make money off of these fools!

BTW and to stoke ur ego a bit: You are beautiful!

and im not tryn to get something going, just stating my opinion which is also an empirical fact.

I hate texas

hate it and love it @ the same time do i.

@IamBane I appreciate some things about Texas. I like the night sky in fall and winter when the migratory birds are moving.....ok. seriously that's almost all I got. The politics...oh my Ted Cruz? I don't believe in the devil but I sure do believe there are evil cocksuckers and he is in the top 10 .

The 2 ladies should be informed that they cannot do that on school property. It's that simple.

Where I live the believers my age seem to want to remember prayer in public schools and claim bad things today are happening because we no longer let god in schools, etc. If memory serves me I do remember a time teachers said "those that want to can have one minute of silent prayer." Notice that it was silent and one minute. Anything else here is simply in the minds of the remaining believers. This delusion was soon busted by O'Hair and the courts, and rightly so.

The folks that did that near my kids' high school knew exactly where to stand so they weren't on school property. It reeks of desperation.
