Massive frustration post, incoming.
I am so incredibly tired of having to explain the simplest of concepts to people. When did anything that requires the smallest bit of effort or attention become too much to ask? If you cannot: send an email, follow directions on a pin pad or written directions posted directly above the machine you are attempting to use, use a turn signal, understand what stop lights and traffic signs are there for or walk without blocking everyone behind you, you should not be out in public without a minder. Full stop.

Because stupid people are reproducing faster than smart people. It's just that simple. But we will have another bottleneck in history and they will die off... Just wait for it.

Common courtesy seems to be rapidly decreasing. For example:

College students walk four abreast without yielding, rudely forcing me off the sidewalk.

"Look up!" I say loudly, before a student runs into me while staring at their phone.

Don't let them. When you see them coming, stop dead in your tracks and just stand there. They WILL go around. If you are behind them, bring a bicycle bell and ring it. If they don't part like the Red Sea, seize the moment they look behind them to see what the fuck that noise was and push your way through, saying excuse me, pardon me, coming through, etc. If all else fails, start singing at the top of your lungs Ludacris' "Move Bitch!" (This will require you to know the song, but it's a good song, so totally worth it).

@Donotbelieve Thank you. Gotta know how to life hack.

do you live in one of those "college towns" in the US?

@demifeministgal

Yes. I live close to the college.

I locked myself out of my chromebook. I'll hang my head in shame 😟 LOL

Laughing with you, not at you.

I have done it too, I think most of us have. I have not, however walked into a place of business and acted as though the employees were responsible for keeping/finding my passwords. I literally had people yell at me TWICE this week because they were outraged that I told them they were going to have to reset their passwords themselves.

that sounds like something I would do
