did admin ignore you? or have they not gotten back to you fast enough? funny, that hasn't happened to me. i lost points once but i knew why i lost them. i actually read their thing about how points were calculated. i read it even though i don't happen to be obsessed with points. i check them sometimes and i am interested, furthermore, in how sites work, especially those in which i participate. i don't come here to get points. i come here because i enjoy communicating with people on a variety of topics without being prayed for or preached to. the points are just there as a barrier against folks who come here and don't want to participate beyond, say, scamming the naive or trying to convert folks. (i am not saying you've done that; i am only explaining the benefits of having a points system.) but if you like this site so little that something this small can set you to ranting (TWO posts about it!) and leaving (i guess we're not that interesting here) then have a nice life.. elsewhere. i won't try to detain you.

Why worry about points. Points are a miner reason for being on this website.

I hope you don't leave just for that reason but we all have our pet peeves. I have found this to be a great community-great people, lots of different groups, a great combination of personal, political and other genres. I can go from feeling very loving/loved to wanting to kick people's asses in less than a minute...ha!

You can leave without making a speech. Also, who gives a fuck about points? You are here for the wrong reasons if that is your focus.

Why are points rescinded? More FB/YT/Twittee/patreon censoring? Somebody's feelings were offended/insulted, so they complain and points are taken away from the bad guy?

Points earned according to the "Rules" are taken without reason or "rules."

What I see is a bunch of other people whining about another person whining. Although some have taken a decidedly mean tact to their comments. Such great community.

Points mattered when I first joined this site. I thought it was a fun game and I did get my t-shirt. Since I hit level 8, I barely look at the points anymore. If I lose some points, oh well.

A person blocked me today cuz i responded in-kind to its attack.

It took offense at my suggesting its post would be more appreciated if it use correct spelling and grammar. I wasn't nasty. It responded with something stupid. I responded that it should also learn to read better to understand that i actually read its post, otherwise i would not have suggested it become more attentive to its communication skills.

I wonder if i lost points by the blocking?

1. They responded to you before.
2. If you were only here for a small site's point levels, that's pretty sad.
