We're really not getting the point of government. Interesting: A Muslim House Representative was sworn on the Bible and then evangelized at the same time in her own swearing ceremony. What are your thoughts? Secularism pleases! to restore the purpose of government.

Feel free to reply to any comment by clicking the "Reply" button.Are you sure it was a Babble?...because they get asked & can have anything they want, same as juryduty, testifying at Trials, etc It could be the Quaran or a book of poetry, it makes no difference, it is the Oath that matters, and no gawd need be mentioned there, either. Been this way for decades in mst places....

@missgi they do not need any book, it is their. Choice if they want one.....the orally spoken Oath is a he 9nly thing that actually counts, ot who/what you swear it to, even just "the universe".
