Well ... my sister's dying I just got the word today that her kidneys are shutting down we didn't ever have much of a relationship so I didn't think I cared that much but I'm sitting here crying so I guess I did

So very sorry.

Sometimes we do not actually grieve the relationship we had, but the one we never had. As long as they were alive there was a tiny chance or hope that things could be repaired or made decent. With death, that hope is killed along with the person. This scene from Bojack is very moving just replace mother with sister in your case. This hit me hard when I watched it so fair warning:

You are grieving all that did not happen, and all that will not.

Dialysis is not in the picture? And I am sorry for your grief.

Unfortunately she also has hepatic cancer allof her organs are starting to fail they're sending her to hospice and we all know what that means

@Drsmash253 I wish her a good death. Hospice is the only place i will consider when my time comes. Why not go and see her.

That's very sad, I would suggest to spend some quality time talking to her whilst you can.
