Today I spent the sunny hours doing shopping and other business. So, by the time I took a walk with the camera, the sun was no longer at its peak. Therefore, these photos may look a bit dark. But here you see the three main islands of Lago Maggiore from one point on the West shore in Baveno. The Islands are Isola dei Pescatori (Fishermen Island); Isola Bella (Beautiful Island), and Isola Madre (Mother Island). I also took some photos of the nearest church (who knew there would be Catholics in Italy? LOL), and a photo of the building where my condo is:

Oh! I forgot to include the ducks that swam by while I was photographing the islands:

Most people, when they hear someone yell, "Duck!" will crouch down or hide behind a barrier. When I hear "Duck!" I just whip out my camera. πŸ˜›

Gorgeous, are you there on holidays? I spent a summer at Lago Di Garda when I was 17 and just loved it. One day I may revisit. Just a beautiful part of the world, and the Italians are awesome.

Yes, I'm here for vacation. πŸ™‚

@BestWithoutGods How long will you be staying, and are you going anywhere else?

@Jolanta I'll be in Europe until early June. I will spend most of my time at the condo in Baveno, Italy, but there will be trips to southern Italy, London, and perhaps other places as well. πŸ™‚

@BestWithoutGods That’s sounds fabulous. I hope you will have a wonderful time.

@Jolanta I'm sure I will. This is my fourth vacation in Italy. It never gets old. πŸ™‚

@BestWithoutGods yes I love Italy. Could easily live there.
