I just returned from a two-mile hike to and from the Centro Lago Maggiore (Major Lake Center), which is a combination of a community center and a shopping mall here in Baveno, Italy. I took some nature photos along with some signs that tickled my funny bone.

The first sign you'll see is Italian for "Beware of the dog," a rather common sign, but it adds "And the owner." LOL.

The second sign indicates that the walking trail below it is for both pedestrians and cyclists. But I interpret it to mean that if a cyclist meets a pedestrian, the pedestrian must jump over the cyclist to let him by.

The third sign has a dog saying, "I can't pick it up. You do it."

Enjoy!

I passed through Italy in the early 1970's and I was focused on another destination, so I didn't fully appreciate the beauty of the country. I wish I could revisit and make up the the last time I was there. It is on the top 3 places I want to visit, Italy, Spain and France...not necessarily in that order. I am so jealous that you got to take a 2 hour hike there and I didn't. 🙂 Beautiful pics.
