I've been with my client here in Florida Hospital, New Smyrna, for the past 12 hours. On the walls and on every computer screen are generic Bible verses. Wondering if my medical professionals believe in the healing power of magic is not comforting in the slightest.

I find that troubling. It would bother me as a patient or a visitor to that hospital. Not sure what kind of formal complaint to make...but it is as ineffectual as prayer itself if it is meant to heal or comfort.

Looks like it's some sort of faith based medical facility. Check out their CREATION philosophy for care.

That would be so illegal in the UK and I am not going to nag but as a senior nurse you would be in trouble for being on your phone on duty!

I'm just a his personal home health aide. Not a hospital employee. Just here to keep him company and prevent him from wandering.
