Had an "Impossible Burger" yesterday. It's the latest non-meat hamburger, made to taste like a beef hamburger. As someone who's not a veggie lover and definitely loves his meat, I'd say it was pretty good. It wasn't indistinguishable from real hamburger, but the texture and taste was very good. It's probably at least somewhat healthier than beef and no animals are harmed in making it, so if you'd like an alternative, give it a try! Oh and it was about ten bucks, not as bad as I was anticipating.

You can find restaurants near you that serve it and it's supposed to be available in grocery stores later this year.

Vegetarian food is delicious. You don't have to eat meat everyday.

@josh_is_exciting No, everyone is not the same. I too grew up on a lot of meat but I have tried many different vegetarian dishes (not necessary cooked by me) and they were delicious. It is not only about lettuce leaves.

I made a special trip to Dave'n'Busters because all of their locations have the incredible burger. It was passable. I think D'n'B didn't do anything to help it (like salt or spices)...for the most part, I had to cue the wait staff into the fact that they had it on the menu (granted, here in the red south, it's not a hot menu item). I can say that myself and 2 others tried it...all burger lovers who are fine with vegetarian. We all agreed that these particular incredible burgers tasted like a good old, crappy school-lunch burgers of days of old. Those old grey meat/"fat crater" burgers. Maybe they all taste that way...or maybe d'n'b was clueless. I'm kinda looking forward to trying the "lab grown meat" that we keep hearing is getting more affordable. I do like the idea of the incredible burger...but kinda worried by @healthydoc70 statements...and even more worried as that person's username lends additional credence to the critique. Yikes! Cue oprah meme..."YOU get cancer! And YOU get cancer! Everybody gets cancer!!"

This impossible burger is the epitome of processed "food" and is derived from soy and contains wheat and 40 other as yet unidentified proteins. It is not possible for it to be healthier than anything, and billions of animals are killed in the growing of the soy it is made from. It is sprayed with roundup and results in the loss of topsoil. It is literally poison. Beware the impossible foods propaganda. They want to replace real eggs with their impossible egg. The ultimate in irresponsibility driven by the idea of being more responsible!

ya just can't win.If I decide to go plant based I am just going to forget about meat and eat recognizable plants

@btroje Or grow it yourself.
