Its hard to tell from a pic. The 3 variations have the same chemical composition, SiO2, but have different origins. They appear to grade into one another in appearance. Milky quartz is fine, not valuable and pretty common. Ubiquitous across the US.

Chalcedony or chert. If its a quartz it would have to be a metamorphic version - quartzite. The grain size is crytocrystaline and is translucent to opaque almost. My bid is chert.

Wikipedia was saying it was ” milky quartz”

Yep, it looks like a form of quartz I have typically seen found with dark blue limestone.

I looked on Wikipedia and wow it is pretty interesting how it forms in nature.

I thought that the name of it screaming in my head is ” quartz ” wasn't too far off and thought to myself that I didn't think it was because I actually thought that quartz was clear and figured it was best ask the community to find out for sure ( sure there is someone knowledgeable who would know)

And I couldn't thank the community enough.
