Why my non-profit job is not fun right now.

Me to person at high school: I've only received one online scholarship application.

Person at high school: [X number of] students told me [emphasis added] they applied online.

Me to person at high school: But I've only gotten one application.

Person at high school: I personally watched [emphasis added] them apply and submit their applications online.

I fucking hate scholarship season right now.

Something is not tracking. Given the final result of whatever action ends with you I would say the application is not being processed. Unless your evil twin is at the computer when you're sleeping an deleting the applications.

She’s either lying or the proper proceedures for final submission were unclear on the web site and were therefore not followed.

Check the web site to see if there are numerous applications still in “not yet completed” status.
