Here's background information on Donald Trump's grandfather and father. His grandfather ran brothels and is accused of dodging the German military draft (runs in the family it seems) by emigrating to the states a year or two before his responsibility to serve came due.

Frederick Trump (born Friedrich Trump; 14 March 1869 – 30 May 1918 ) was a German–American businessman and the patriarch of the Trump family. Born in Kallstadt, in the Kingdom of Bavaria (now in Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany), he emigrated to the United States at the age of 16 and started working as a barber. Several years later, in 1891, he moved to the Northwest. He made his fortune by operating restaurants and boarding houses (brothels) in Seattle and the mining town Monte Cristo, and brothels in the Klondike Gold Rush. He later returned to Kallstadt and married. Bavarian authorities accused him of emigrating when he was young to avoid fulfilling his military service, so he lost his Bavarian citizenship; he and his family returned to the United States.

Friedrich Trump, a German, was issued with the document in February 1905, and ordered to leave the kingdom of Bavaria within eight weeks as punishment for having failed to do mandatory military service and failing to give authorities notice of his departure to the US when he first emigrated in 1885.

It appears that Trump's father inherited his wealth from his father's brothel fortunes. Sound familiar. The difference between Donald and his father is that Sr. Trump increased his wealth through real estate holdings in NYC.

Fred Trump was one of the biggest real estate developers in New York. Using their inheritance, Fred and his mother Elizabeth founded E. Trump & Son. Fred married Mary MacLeod (1912–2000), a native of Tong, a small village near Stornoway, in the Western Isles of Scotland. She was the daughter of fisherman Malcolm MacLeod and Mary MacLeod (née Smith).[17]

Weren't the MacLeods the Clan that taught the other Highland Clans how to play the bagpipes? Could that be the genetic origin of Trump's bag of wind?
