Who gets tired of being asked for money all the time? Why don't the people who need money ask those who have it?
Are you talking about scammers in dating? I have always wondered if this happens to a particular gender more than the other. I feel really unattractive because it has not happened to me yet. I have money and I waste money on other things but scammers in Nigeria and other places think I may be just one of them.... LOL... Works for me!
If you are talking about other asking like religious donations, I have had many of those skirmishes and looking forward to more. As for scamming in online fraud, I have had many like making purchases on stolen credit cards. For this the rule is this will continue as long as suckers are born every minute.
I met someone on this site whom I thought to be genuine but sadly turned into a scanner asking me for my sprint phone information. Wanting me to put him on my plan. Last week it was someone who wanted me to pay his hotel bill. I feel like I will never find true love.
@confidentrealm wow, what audacity! The scammers are getting bolder because there are people who fall for the scams. Please be safe.
@Tiramisu I really have a hard time believing, and there's that word again, that so many people fall for it that scanners actually make a living at it.
The worst part of that is telemarketers! We still have a land line which gets between 10 and 20 robo calls a day. I eventually put a call blocker on that phone which seemed a little weird but that thing is GREAT. It's a little effort to set it up so all your family and friends calls go through without interruption but well worth it.
Ironically, the poor are (generally) more generous in giving than those who have lots of money.
Unfortunately. That's how they got rich.
