@Amisja men trying to show off after a luncheon to impress women. Churches had, and still have, fellowship luncheons.
@Beowulfsfriend Oh ok...there is a whole world I was never privy too. Lads round here would drink 10 cans of stella, have a fight in the street and buy their girl a kebab on the way home!
@Amisja we have that here, but not at the churches. It is always the bars that sell by the can - classy.
