While I'm not a fan of pitting generations against each other because attention is directed away from the wealthy leeches, but older folks with uninformed views need to understand the situation better. They need to realize they had it better and that greed made it impossible to replicate their experiences in the US. The country is nothing like they experienced following WWII and that modern conveniences, such as a smart phone, don't make up for lost opportunities, such as having a good job with a pension that allows one to buy a house for a family while never having stepped foot on a college campus (no longer exists). Without realizing it, they have cheered for the destruction of that way of life.
