I answered a call today on my cell phone. The speaker said it was fox news and thank you for my continued support. Completely stunned, I said I was no supporter and thought in fact that they were subverting our democracy. Unflummoxed, he said fine, I didnt need to be a supporter but was I following their viral news sweeping the country. I hung up. Wtf was that?

When I get a call from an anonymous number, I answer “Police Department, Sergeant McIntyre.” They usually hang up.

Golden rule... Never pick up if you don't know the number....... Unless you wanna have fun with it, of course. So many ways to spin that one

You are kinder than I am....I would have told the caller that their so called "faux" news station was giving air time to a number of complete and utter morons - specifically their evening line up. So.....no support. and then I would have hung up. 😉 😉

Lots of hoax phone calls and scam calls going around. We actually got a Social Security scam call here at the social security office a few weeks ago...?
