Trump is not only our problem, he is the world's problem. If Assange helped with that outcome, then burn the little slimeball. I was so happy to see them dragging his ass out of the embassy. I don't think he stole information so much as made stolen information available to the general public. He is charged with conspiracy to steal it, but beign charged alone doesn't make a person guilty.

The US government was invading and destroying countries way before Trump, and American government didn't attack Russia, it attacked and messed with other "third world" countries to take their oils and resources and put whatever puppets serve its politics in those countries...

@Shaghaf If you look up the Feds record you will see they don't indict if it isn't a sure win in their eyes. Their conviction rate is over somewhere above 95%. This isn't some overzealous local DA. If someone leveled the entire Middle East, I would not shed a tear, and the combined IQ of this planet would jump up several points. I don't like any government including ours, but they are necessary because human beings, are selfish, stupid, and cowardly. When we are all gone the IQ of the Universe will go up several points.

@Sticks48 The guy was a real asshole about hwo he went about making the information public. I don't like him, but think the charges have more to do with challenging power than actually doing anything illegal.

This case may end up reshaping the freedom of the press. I think those in power plan to use the case to limit freedom of the press to better control the release of information and li9mti government transparency.
