I'm proposing we start observing "Wester" on the same date as Easter (or possible the Saturday just before).

Like maybe we'd wear cowboy hats and celebrate prominent figures of the Enlightenment.

What do YOU think Wester should include?

A celebration of the good weather returning, perhaps? It seems only fair since December the 25th was originally a Pagan holiday that was stolen by the church. I suggest it be celebrated the day before Easter, so that Easter might be used as a day of recovery. It may come to mark the first BBQ of the year for many of us, celebrated with friends and family. Beef brisket, turkey, pork roast, salmon, whole chicken, all done on the smoker, then washed down with plenty of beer and champagne. Fireworks would light up the evening sky and annoy the Christians that intend to start their early Easter morning by going to church. Yes, this sounds like a great idea!

I like it!

Honestly don't mean to be a wet blanket but we really don't need any more holidays

>>WE<< don't even have one holiday. Not a single day to celebrate reason, science, secularism, etc. I say that should change.

If cowboy hat's are required I'm out.
