Once heard a funny story over Armed Forces radio in Germany. A guy said the bananas were first introduced in Germany in a market in Munich. He said his friends were all excited and told him to try this fruit. However, they forgot to tell him to peel it first. He said it tasted awful and to that day he can't stand bananas. I'll bet this happens a lot.
