I was not feminizing but I have not seen men dressing the same in public, especially political candidates on campaign trails. This is the time to look elegant in more ways, time to impress, time to show some flair etc. But that's me. His campaign obviously knows better.

@Tiramisu he's going to get the worst of both worlds being gay. Political calculation is probably don't stir up the homophobe stereotype machine. A sense of fashion will do that more than looking like one of the world's most boring dressers.

As for fashion, my guess is that he is avoiding looking cute and more attractive because he is gay and avoiding more comments and memes from the other side. he is very articulate and intelligent to me no matter what he does. I have started liking this guy's candidacy.
