Romney would have thrown the Mormons under the bus for corporate enrichment. That enrichment would have greatly benefited the Mormon church so it's a wash in their eyes. Just like the evans think trump is gonna help bring about the second coming so they over look the fact he has horns.
Romney is all about the wealthy and big corporate. His health care ideas in Mass. worked very well and much of it was used as a basis for the ACA. Sadly the ACA has been hijacked by big corporate and the gop defunding.
But at least romney would have been more prone to actually following the rules but might have made it more difficult for Dems to take back the Congress.

Mitt can have his moments of clarity, but I always remember he is a vulture capitalist who destroyed companies to enrich himself. He had no care or thought of the people's lives he destroyed while doing this.

Im hard pressed to think any one of the people trump beat in the primarys would have made a "good" president. I think most would have been a better pres, but low bar and stuff.

Although I agree with him in part, his little statement is pretty damned useless.

He's a republican and a senator, he could have called for the House to impeach him, and encouraged his fellow republicans to support impeachment.
Then, when the Senate trial occurred, he could have lobbied for conviction and removal.
