I have seen no indisputable evidence, but accept the possibility that visitors from one or more planets may have inpacted on human development

I have had a Close Encounter of the 1st Kind in the winter of 1981. It happened at 2am, in Atlanta. We were driving South on Redan Rd. When the driver noticed a triangular shape with a white light at each corner.

We turned left onto S. Hairston Rd. So did the craft. About 1/2 mile, Colin pulled off the road as we sat in the car watching. It was hovering over a Georgia Pine tree which isn't very tall. It made no sound.

Colin got out of the car and called for me to join him. We stood there for about 15 min. At one point I sheepishly waved to them. Sounds of fighter jets rapidly approached, the craft flew up into the sky, headed West at a fast pace. The next day the Atlanta Journal reported 23 other sitings in Stone Mountain. I was thrilled and honored.

There are 100,000,000,000 stars in our own galaxy. Billions of galaxlies in our universe. It us rather arrogant of humans to believe we are the only planet with life forms.

Both Astronaughts that first stepped on the moon reported seeing UFOS while in orbit and in the surface of the moon.

Most major religions state that we humans, come from the stars. Native Americans call Extraterrestials star people and believe life came from the stars.

I hope I am fortunate enough to meet them. I'm convinced most races of exterrestrials are benevolent. During my CE of the 1st Kind, they had at least 20 minutes to kill or abduct us. No harm done.

I'm not one (as I've yet to see any convincing evidence, and a claim such as the ancient astronaut theory requires some very convincing evidence indeed), but from a folkloric point of view it's a topic in which I have an interest.

If there is any, I wouldn't read about them...

Not so many since Eric Von Daniken was exposed as a fraud and hoax monger.

Actually, it did not happen that way. Most academics, scientists and other so-called experts and religious leaders wanted Mr. Danikens silenced. It didn't work.

I am sure there are but will you find them. Some are probably in a nice place, with white walls and some nice doctors and nurses taking very good care of them.

Occasional watcher. Thought about making a drinking game around the show but I don't think my liver could keep up. 🙂

Ohhhhh nooooo, you have opened yourself up for potential attack. If one dares to say that they think the theory has any merit, many will swoop down and ask for your concrete, verified, double-blind-study-verified proof that this is true. If you cannot provide that, you may be dismissed as a crackpot. At least, that is what I have seen happen in the past.

I have seen a lot of the Ancient Aliens shows, and while I don't believe they are true, I find them interesting in that they are explanations that provide an alternate perspective to the ways that traditional and ancient religions explain creation. Especially the idea re: what manna might have been. (Growing up in a Christian family, as a kid I always pictured "manna" as communion wafers drifting down from the sky.)

I was until I retired. It got too hard getting in and out of my capsule.
