Give it time and keep your chin up. You never know what or who coming into your life next.

Marriage is not everlasting. Children are; if you have any, focus on their best interests. If you lack kids, move on ~

Just looked closer, I see a clingon ..so cling 🙂

I have never been married, I refuse. That being said, heartbreak sucks. Losing someone that you've built your life around is, honestly, core emptying grief. Find something that helps you cope. I found music to be an awesome and portable coping mechanism. I particularly like Breaking Benjamin for the angry days. Apocalyptica is great for those days you don't want to use words. Country music, the old old stuff, is good for the days you want to wallow in self pity. I love classical for clearing my mind and reassessing my priorities.

If music isn't your thing, creating may work as well. I'm talking about artsy stuff. A good set of detailed coloring books or just paper and some prismacolors and your feelings will flow. Better than being bottled up on the inside.

I also love gardening to release that built up tension. There is something about being in the dirt that really grounds you and brings you back to sanity. Maybe it's the ruthless yanking of weeds. Who cares, it helps.

There's something for everyone that's helps you sort out your head and deal with your issues.

Just never forget that in a relationship, you are not the only one who may have screwed up. All parties play their parts. Some are just not as successful as the other.

If you on the brink of divorce you are referring to, it's difficult to know how to fix it. Maybe therapy is an approach but you need two to tango. Divorce totally sucks, but then with time you adapt and start a new life, many times better...

Not on the brink in the legal part of it now. Still sucks.
