All over today , I've seen or heard the phrase "he is risen", and the first thing to come to my mind was the Pillsbury dough boy.

Anyway Christians ... thanks for all the chocolate candy !

My dick is risen too, but I don't call him god, although it makes my woman say "oh my god" several times.

Didn't hear it once. 🙂 Also forgot to have chocolate 😟

If he’s risen when does he fall down so he can rise again next year? Or should they really be saying he’s still risen?

Real Christians should be pretty pissed off about chocolate eggs as they would represent a pagan deity that Paul said they shouldn’t have anything to do with. I bet they love a bit of chocolate on the sly like a lot of other things that are forbidden. Garden of Eden at your confectioners now!

Thats funny, The pillsbury dough boy has risen, I think I heard somewhere that someone offered a million dollars if someone could prove that a person can rise from the dead.

Amazing what yeast can do.

What is sad is that the Christian Radio Stations have invaded Bigly. Politically endorsed by the GOP, the NRA they broadcast on the air Chrystal Clear just like Joel and Jimmy Swaggert can afford to make is sound by paying no taxes.

I use to think that the term "he has risen" referred to getting out of bed after a night of drinking.

Why do they say “is” instead of “has”?

Because they are the sort of idiots willing to kill people in the name of an imaginary Zombified Israeli carpenter and part time stand up comic?

@LenHazell53 That didn’t answer my question, but thanks anyway.

@indirect76 Serious answer is that Christians believe Jesus is alive today, untouched by death, and is pertuallally in a state of grace, therefore the past participle is not applicable to him, as I said, idiots.

Hebrews 13:8-25
Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever.

Because each year , on the chosen day, the stone rolls away, and out he pops - again, and again, and again. Makes ya realize just how nutty this whole story is !

@evergreen a bit like whack-a-mole really!
