Astrology lady doesn't know when someone stops by. Here goes: I live in Gettysburg - lots of tourists and "museums" and shops and "ghost" tours and battle field tours, etc. Etc includes a "reading" room, or house, which i had never set foot into over 8 years until this afternoon. Looking in it looks like it came out of a bad 70's television show with burning candles, drapes, crystals and such. Why did i walk in? Simple answer is I like animals and the lady's dog was out walking around on the sidewalk. I was in my car at the light. People were walking by, traffic was busy and, well, frankly, I became worried about the little white fuzz ball. So, I parked, crossed the street, told the dog to be calm and opened the door for it. I stepped in to let the witchy woman gypsy know her dog was indoors, apparently she let it out back as i saw it come out the side path. I announced myself, but she didn't respond. Her dog did, however, letting rip at me, its savior. I left, closing the door behind me. Not very clairvoyant of her - a missing dog and a person in her living room. The open sign was on. Why people go to those places is beyond me. And, why people, on a busy street can ignore a little leashless dog also amazes me. That was my forray this afternoon just before the rain.

This is vaguely relevant: My workplace is hosting a psychic night (I'm so glad I have the day off). My point is they phoned up yesterday, I took the call and they asked me how many bookings they have for the night. It took a lot of self-control to not say - Don't you already know you effing fraudster!

Maybe she was busy and KNEW you'd be saving the dog? Uh, huh!

Woo hoo, witchy woman
See how high she flies
Woo hoo, witchy woman
She got the moon in her eye

On a par with clairvoyants never winning the lottery.

It is a good thing that you were able to keep the little dog safe, whether it appreciated it, or not. I am not terribly surprised that the owner did not see you coming.
