I came around the curve on Rt 88 south and saw a dark pile of something on the side of the road. As I passed by,,one of the two turkey vultures took wing. Scary looking bird! Huge wing span, not very good looking face ,especially with guts hanging out of his beak.

My story from the country: The other day I saw one of my dogs in the distance look like he was after a gopher in a hole. A rabbit careened out of the nearby brush. While walking to see what he was after he started whipping a snake. By the time I got close enough to see if it was a rattler or not he had eaten its head and a large part of the upper body.Continued to munch it down while it writhed and made certain I couldnt have any part of it. Nature at its finest!
