I've been discovering new muscles to ache. I had a magnificent, 40 foot high, Norfolk Island Pine in my garden, but had to have it cut down because the roots were starting to cause problems. I'm hoping to plant a less problematic tree a couple of feet from where it stood, but as I started digging I ran into a problem, this root! It has taken me almost a full day to get half-way through cutting through it for the new tree.

It still is! I've called a truce for what's left of today - I need to soak in a relaxing bath. Tomorrow, Sunday, will NOT be a day of rest!!
