There are very bad people on both sides. We need to cleanse the system. I am hoping Congress will begin legislating some strong laws about:

1. Nepotism - so that no other Ivanka nd Kushner can come in except to get a kiss from Daddy
2. Independence of Attorney General
3. Tax returns of President and all White House officials
4. No government shutdown any more. If it must happen, all White House and Congress salaries AND benefits must be put on hold including health insurance
5. Limit President's power to declare national emergency
6. Provide punishments for lying in press conferences to American people
7. Many many other

We have already passed that milestone.100% of progressives are convinced that he is a crook, law breaker and immoral human being. 100% conservatives think not. 30% of moderates and conservatives agree he is a liar and a crook but still want him to lead the nation this term and the 2nd term and make changes. We all were extremely frustrated over nothing getting done in Washington during Obama terms.

Therefore the angst, anguish, anger, revenge, frustration emotions are high only among progressives and we keep fuming all the time. We did that over Bush and Cheney and we are now doing it over Trump. The conservatives fumed over Clinton and Obama. Our nation is 50% - 50%.

I am hoping for a leader who fires the imagination of all Americans and does something for the nation after all these years of getting nothing done on - infrastructure, immigration. 2 huge issues. The Civil Engineers of America have already issued dire warnings that American bridges and dams must be maintained, else tragedies will begin happening.

People read these news but politicians want to stay in Washington. Why aren't we asking if President has 2 term limitation, why not legislators?

Why do they have luxury health insurance while Americans are dying at home and hospitals simply because insurance companies are denying treatments?

@Tiramisu Thanks...I read an interesting article on why legislators are not given term limits. I thought it was very outdated and if applied in the business world, nothing would ever get done...the main reason is that it takes time to learn the culture and systems...but in business, if you don't learn fast and get moving, you get fired! Then there was the argument that changing horses all of the time would mean no continuance and everyone shooting for their own projects...I don't buy that either...the one going out obviously didn't get things done...see if the next one does better...we keep people in that are deadwood as they say in business...I am definitely for term limits, something reasonable, like 4 years...prove your worth or get out...

@thinktwice A simple and the only reason - The senators and congress members are not going to sign their own death warrant.

@Tiramisu many are pushing for term limits...they might be naive and unrealistic, but they know that leaving a fox in the henhouse for too long will not be good for the country...aka Mitch McConnell...he is way past his prime...
