This will be quite an issue heading into the primaries. Already ready seeing many, many Dems wanting to soft pedal the flaws of various candidates. It didn't work in 2016, and won't work in 2020.

The "Blue no matter who crowd" only act as if that's true as long as the "who" is not a progressive.

A coalition truly out the beat Trump (the DNC's very own Pied Piper), would acknowledge that a progressive would pull in votes a centrist will not.

Frighteningly, but also tellingly, it appears that Establishment Dems would rather lose with a centrist than win with a progressive.
