Teaching them about all options (including not having one) and then let them choose by their own power then should be ok

Teaching kids about all religions is a great idea. The fact that there are so many and contradictory systems of belief let the child equate such things with the fiction that they are.
In secular primary schools in the UK they learn about several religions. I've always been impressed how most figure out creation accounts are just myths.

This is so true!

Based on your own argument teaching Atheism is also Child Abuse it breaks rule 1, 2, 3, 7
Rule 4 is subjective to culture and the fact you don't recognize the autonomy of cultures borders on being a Sociopath
5,6 are based purely on assumption that they don't exist which is a violation of rule 1.

Atheism isn't "taught;" it is a lack of belief in that which cannot be proven. Your other points are flawed too.

@Spidey I'm not gonna get into a lengthy define Atheism but anything can be taught. So the beginning of your premise is already wrong.

@Biosteelman, what premise? I stated that atheism is a lack of belief, just as Christianity is a belief. Those are established facts.

@Spidey the premise that Atheism can't be taught. Teaching to disbelieve is exactly as teaching to believe. Either can be taught, either can happen through self enlightenment.

@Biosteelman, yes, brainwashing techniques are ancient and effective, but you still don't understand the meaning of atheism. It is a lack of belief rather than a blind faith. Remember, you can't prove that something doesn't exist, you can only show evidence that it does.

@Spidey really I can prove there are no unicorns in my living room. I can't prove there are no unicorns in the universe.

@Spidey it's the difference between a type 1 error and a type 2 error.

Couldn't agree more

The religious indoctrination of children should be considered felony child abuse.

Religion is abusive, period.

Things out of context are funny

@Biosteelman Except that these aren't really out of context. These are really what are said about a "relationship" with god.

@Piratefish it's out of context and purposely phrased to sound as terrible as possible. But whatever helps you sleep at night

@Biosteelman You must be trolling. Or you have not read much of the bible. Or you're just stupid.

@Piratefish I have read the Bible and I'm not trolling. Those aren't phrased that way in the bible and they're out of context. Whereas your meme was funny when you view as someone purposefully taking it out of context.
I actually recognized half of those half phrases even when the wording was perverted.

@Biosteelman So what context are they in then?

@Piratefish I'm not about to write the context of ten separate quotes. But let's look at you're nothing without me. God says you only exist because he created you. In the same way parents tell their children. Not to invoke control or subordination but to enlighten the question where do I come from.

@Biosteelman Problem is, every single one of those quotes are biblically based and are used regularly to describe god's relationship with man. You're either being deliberately obtuse, or you genuinely haven't been paying attention. Either way, you have now wasted enough of my time.

@Piratefish I guess I'm obtuse because you're a terrible person and you need me to do better. Is s perversion of man is born with Sin but that can be forgiven. Not quite the same thing unless you're stretching and need it to be
It's the difference between Free Candy and stealing a piece of Candy, both you have candy you didn't pay for.
