Wouldn't be quite the same. Instead of "he died for my sins". It was "he was nailed to a cross but was saved at the last minute by his father, taken down of the cross, had his wounds treated and lived a long and happy life in Nazareth "

Matthew 27:46
Around the ninth hour, Jesus shouted in a loud voice, saying "Eli Eli lama sabachthani?" which is, "My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?"

Mark 15:34
And at the ninth hour, Jesus shouted in a loud voice, "Eloi Eloi lama sabachthani?" which is translated, "My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?"

It is the only saying that appears in more than one Gospel

Well since Jesus was supposed to actually be his own father, who impregnated his underage mother without her consent, in order to give birth to himself in order to sacrifice himself to himself you've got to think he was in to some fucking weird shit.
