For those that think we're being racist wanting to stop Muslims coming into the country without being vetted, here is a Muslim telling you that's only part of what we should be doing.

Seeing as 10% of Muslims worldwide hate the US and there are others who sympathize with them I don’t think it’s wise to allow Muslims into the US. Just look at the problems they’ve had in Europe.

Bingo... He's only telling us what most of us are already thinking, and confirming what we suspected... End of story.

What's this guy's agenda? We know that CBN is not a legitimate news source, and its agenda is to radicalize evangelicals against non-christians. Tawhidi however isn't necessarily operating in the interest of the west. Muslims sects have been at war with each other for around 1300 years. Those various groups are not above lies and propaganda to turn outsiders against rival groups.

The whole CBN article reeks of conspiracy theory. I don't believe the Trump/right-wing fantasy about how our entire intelligence network is wrong while the propaganda agencies pretending to be journalists get it. I'm sure Fox will run with this story before long.

Vetting should be universal and not religious based. Refugees are the most vetted people in the immigration system and yet they are the most politicised. Why? Money. HB1 and student visa entrants save or make companies and schools money. Few terrorists are from refugees. Think - I tell people- terrorists are impatient and have funding. And, coming here as a visitor or with a job or as a student is quite easy.

Do you even know the immigration process? Have you traveled or applied for a Visa? EVERY IMMIGRANT GETS VETTED. Everywhere! In the US we have atleast 5 federal agencies working in concert, not to mention state and local police agencies, and then you have the various military branches. And connecting with similar agencies overseas. Give me a break, will ya? 🙂

Dude, chill. In terms of vetting, the US is in 'overkill mode'. You apparently are unaware of those who haven't put their life on hold because they arent afraid to work hard and sacrifice to get a better life. We are talking about people who waiting 6 months to 2 years for their student visa to be approved, studying for exams, risking family fortunes, just because they were unlucky enough to be from a country on a list, folks who I know work 200x harder getting legally paid less than minimum wage by our government for skills they should be getting paid $100k doing advanced research for our country's benefit, improving your quality of life, just to have a chance at education and oppourtunity.

Seriously...chill.

You should be more grateful and have respect for all the good hard work our country is already doing to protect us. And you should be VERY grateful and respectful to every immigrant, but especially those who made it through the vetting process from unfortunate countries. Most of them are good hardworking people and you should appreciate them.

I know a number of folks who have immigrated here. And, many did not enjoy the intrusion into their lives and families' lives. I'm mostly pointing out how much harder it is to get in as a refugee - care to disagree?

Wow... You obviously don't have a clue of what is going on...Okay, I understand, ignorance is always forgiven. 👌😊 So yes, I have a visa, and have traveled quite a bit, and I know what happens at the airport. But what is happening at our southern borders is not what happens at the airports.. Yes, vetted immigrants are welcome, and should be allowed in. But they have limits that should be accounted for. (if you are here on school visa, you go home after you finish school... etc)... Do you agree with this?

Being Muslim isn't a race. Your discriminating on beliefs, not skin color. So no, I don't think your being racist.

This is the rider at the bottom of the article......

"Did you know?

God is everywhere—even in the news. That’s why we view every news story through the lens of faith. We are committed to delivering quality independent Christian journalism you can trust. But it takes a lot of hard work, time, and money to do what we do. Help us continue to be a voice for truth in the media by supporting CBN News for as little as $1."

Oh yes, I know it's from a X-tian site. That doesn't take away from what this guy is saying. He's not X-tian.

IF the Baptists around me are so divided on petty differences that they need a different Baptist church every 2 blocks (this is a fact) - then it should be rather easy to see how the muslims who committed 9/11 or form ISIS or mistreat women don't necessarily represent all the nation of Islam. They have their factions just as Baptists do. I don't see the US media blaming ALL Baptist churches for the actions of Westboro ... while the Baptists (and other Christian sects) seem to hold the entire nation of Islam responsible for the actions of a few examples. We REALLY need to quit generalizing.

Actually demonstrably not true here. This is a Xtian web site, pointing out that not all Muslims are terrorists. This is a Muslim they are promoting, because he's not part of the terrorist sect.
