Every time I think about changing my status, I am brought back to my senses by memories of similar experiences. Don't need that in my life. Can't let people's unrealistic expectations bother me, nor the silly idea of someone falling in love with me without fully knowing me. Self respect and self care are better companions, for me anyway.

All in all, they sound deserving of their blocks. The latter two were probably scammers anyway.
Just keep moving and do things that bring you joy.

It always fascinates me how a man can be madly in love after exchanging a handful of back and forth messages. Either he's desperate AF or dishonest. Either way, I'm not interested.

You have your reasons and I absolutely respect that, especially when people are being creeps and liars.

However, blocks have absolutely sapped my enjoyment of this site. It feels like you can't disagree with someone without having them deem you unworthy of their time because they hold a different opinion. It sucks and it's so goddamn narcissistic.

Like I used to post every day. Now I've toyed with just deactivating my account. I'm an open book, let's talk about whatever, let's disagree on whatever. It just feels like we keep isolating ourselves. What's the point in this place if we're just here to reinforce a bubble?
