Not entirely true. There was much debate (by the founding fathers) over this. The general consensus, in layman's terms, was to try to maintain as much personal freedom s possible, in spite of government. That is not quite the same thing.

..that guy… What’s wrong with Kentucky 😕 Our Founders intended our Constitution to evolve, not become outdated or distrusted. It’s our responsibility to update or clarify it. Sadly, it’s interpretation (via the supreme court) will for decades remain mired in the past due to the treachery of one party and the bickering of another..

As for these ‘libertarians’ - Government is how we govern ourselves. It evolved for a reason, and must continue to evolve. Dissolving it may sound appealing to those incapable of functioning within societal parameters, but fortunately, they’re simply an irritating minority.

He’s certainly one not to be trusted. Lied about running to Canada that provides universal coverage to its citizens, tried claiming it was a private hospital.. which it was not. In the meantime, he does everything he can to make sure Americans don’t get healthcare of any kind unless it’s employer paid for.

No one in government is to be trusted ever.
