Great News! The Show "The Orville" has been renewed for Season 3.
I like this quote from a news story:
"When it began, The Orville was essentially a dodgy cover version of Star Trek: The Next Generation, but with more dick jokes. But, over the course of its two seasons, the show has evened out the kinks in its tone and found itself with plenty to say. And, as we said earlier this year, the fact that it's Star Trek, but with a sense of fun, puts it worlds away from the po-faced miserablism that defines Star Trek Discovery."
Po-faced miserablism of Star Trek Discovery. Spot on!
There are not many shows that clearly promote the values of secularism. Orville is one.
And to think it comes from Fox. Oh, the irony, and shows what you can get away with under the disguise of humour.
Murdock is about making money. If he could make more money with a liberal news network, that is what he would do. Fox has always been edgier than the other three networks which is one of the reasons, along with getting the NFL, for their success. Never mistake what goes on with Fox News with what goes on with the Fox Network.
@David1955 Fox is a lot more liberal than the other three networks and has been since its inception. When he established Fox News he saw the size of the audience conservative radio could draw, and saw the secret to that success. Keep'em pissed off. Conservatives are easy to piss of because most of them are not very bright. So that is what he did. He probably is a fascist. This is why he makes his decisions are based on money. He will always vote Republican because of taxes.
