I asked the question "Is love real?" and the response was overwhelmingly "yes."

Here is why I asked it.

Love is an intangible yet many who replied yes are agnostic or atheist.

They believe love is real and it is real because of their belief.

So it is with God.

Love is a bit of a weasel word. Classical Greek has four different types of love and in Sanskrit there are 96 words for love. Probably best to take the vagaries out and decide which context we refer to when we speak of love.

Love is an emotion, often coupled with hormonal urges, but it is as real as the people feeling it. Anger, sadness, elation, happiness, etc, are also emotions, and as such are real. Relating emotions to a god is illogical. Oh, wait, religion IS illogical...

“It is real because of their belief.” That false assumption negates your false analogy. So it is with all religionists: their arguments are self-referential, circular, and logically flawed.

Not all ‘religionists’. Only those who refer to a central text.

This right here is why amature philosophers should be tested the old fashioned way to see if they're witches or not.

No. Love in not an “intangible:” like all emotions, it is a physical phenomenon rooted in our biochemistry. It can be observed and analyzed, and we are getting better at tracking it in real time. None of which can be said for any of your gods.
