Some thirty years ago I was a member of a group called the "Society of Evangelical Agnostics" (S.E.A. to indicate that Agnostics believe nothing is fully knowable and thus are "at sea". The logo was a tildi 🎞.

I liked the wry sense of humor and miss that fellowship. Was anyone a member of this group? Does anyone know what happened to it?

I was a member, and I met the founder William Henry Young back in the 1980s. If I remember right, he disbanded the group a few years before he passed away. It was a great idea, but I thought the term "evangelical" was confusing.

If nothing is truly knowable, how can anyone say that they know or believe that?

Then again, I'm an atheist.

It is reasonable to expect that there are agnostic theists the same as agnostic atheists.
